PhotoAlliance presents an evening with Lukas Felzmann and Yulia Pinkusevich, two artists who use photo-inspired installation, sculpture, and conceptual works to explore systems, culture, identity, and nature.

Felzmann, born in Zürich, Switzerland, uses photography and sculptural forms to examine the dynamics of landscape, ecology, and control—an approach reflected in his publications including Swarm and Gull Juju. Pinkusevich, born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, part fo the now ex-USSR, creates immersive drawings, paintings, and installations that probe psychological and ecological space, revealing the tension between constructed environments and elemental forces. Together, their work invites reflection on the fragile balance between human intention and the sentient rhythms of the world around us.
